FREE Cotillion Etiquette Class Give-Away (Value $175)
This fall, four children will be able to attend for FREE the fun, informative and essential cotillion etiquette class in the Lake Norman area called, "Impressions: The Modern Cotllion for A New Generation."
The three day program is for rising 5th – 8th graders, and one child from each grade will be selected to participate in this highly-acclaimed modern cotllion. The price of the 6-hour program is $175, but your child could win the chance to attend for FREE. See class details and informaiton on how to win the free class below.
What is Impressions?
Impressions is a junior cotillion program with a modern twist. Children learn not from just sitting still and being lectured to, but they are an interactive participant and learn from doing and watching their peers. Impressions teaches all of the important etiquette lessons and social skills kids need to know, but without all of the "old-fashioned" lessons that aren't relevant anymore.
In today's modern and competitive world, kids need to know how to greet others with confidence, carry on a conversation and build relationships. They need to know how to use social media as a tool not a weapon. Kids who have polite table manners, know how to show respect and kindness, and can make a positive and lasting impression on others, will outshine those who don't. It's a competitive world and studies show that 80% of a person's professional success is based on their social skills!
In only 3 classes, children will learn about:
- Table manners and dining etiquette
- Confident introductions
- Polite greeting skills and making small talk
- Telephone etiquette
- Social media manners
- Host and guest skills
- How to show respect and kindness to peers and adults
- Communicating confidence and charisma
- How to dance the waltz and popular dances
When:
Every child will attend 6 hours of instruction that will be held on three separate days listed below:
- Sunday, September 27, 2015
- Sunday, October 25, 2015
- Saturday, November 14, 2015 (Semi-formal dance)
Each grade level will have their own time slot, but if your child cannot make their session due to a conflict, he/she may attend a different class.
- 5th Grade – 12:00 – 2:00
- 6th Grade – 2:30 – 4:30
- 7th/8th Grade – 5:00 – 7:00
Where:
The Impressions class will be held at Birkdale Golf Club [Palmer Pavilion] in Huntersville. Address is 16500 Birkdale Commons Parkway, Huntersville, NC 28078.
Cost:
The cost per person is $175 until June 15, 2015 and then the price increases to $185 per person. Get someone else to register and you will be credited an additional $10 on your registration fee for each person! Just have them write your name in the "Referral Name" box.
