EAT BARBECUE FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Head to uptown on April 4-5 for the Carolina BBQ Festival and help raise money for Operation BBQ Relief and Hungry Heroes. The event is part of Charlotte SHOUT! and features 16 pitmasters from across the Southeast. Enjoy curated BBQ tastings, live music, shopping, and more.
TRADE SOME SPORTS CARDS
Head to Harper & Skyler’s Toys & Sweets on Tuesday, April 8 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. for Sports Cards Trading Day. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
CATCH A CONCERT AT THE MUSEUM
Bring the kids to the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art for a special concert featuring Modest Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition” by the Bechtler Ensemble on Sunday, April 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The family-friendly performance features vivid musical storytelling and imaginative orchestration. Tickets are $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers. Kids 10 and under are free and can do hands-on art activities before the show.
