SEE ALADDIN ONSTAGE
The hit Broadway musical takes the stage at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center April 5-9. Hear all your favorite songs from the Disney film as well as new music written by Tony and Academy Award winner Alan Menken. The production is geared toward children ages 6 and up, and tickets start at $30.
FEAST ON EMPANADAS
Come to Camp North End’s Ford Building on Saturday, April 8 from 12-6 p.m. for Empanada Fest—and bring your appetite. Feast on baked empanadas, fried empanadas, meat empanadas, veggie empanadas, and more. Admission is free, and the event features live music, a DJ, drinks, and dancing.
CELEBRATE SCOTTISH HISTORY
Head to Historic Rural Hill in Huntersville for the Loch Norman Highland Games on April 9 and 10. Celebrate Scottish history and culture with traditional highland games, longbow and battle axe competitions, music, food, highland and Scottish country dancing performances, traditional crafts, whiskey tasting, a kids’ zone, and more. Tickets start at $10 for kids and $20 for adults.
