CELEBRATE HOWL-O-WEEN AT GREAT WOLF LODGE

Great Wolf Lodge Concord’s annual Howl-O-Ween celebration kicks off October 1 and runs through Halloween. This year’s festivities include a Trick-or-Treat Trail, Monster Bash Dance Party, Halloween-themed yoga, arts and crafts, and more. The lodge will be decked out with fall leaves, pumpkins, and other festive décor to celebrate the season. Visit greatwolf.com for more information and to book your stay.

SEE A LIVE MUSICAL

Catch Annie live on stage at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte through October 23. The Tony Award-winning musical is set in New York City during the Great Depression as little orphan Annie does her best to hang on ‘til tomorrow come what may. The show is two hours and includes an intermission. Visit Children’s Theatre of Charlotte for tickets and showtimes.

HAVE A SPOOKY PAJAMA DAY

Roll out of bed and bring the whole family for a faBOOlous 5K & 10K run at Blakeney Professional Park on Saturday, October 29. The event includes a kid’s one-mile fun run, spooky good music from a DJ, trick-or-treating, food vendors, inflatables, and a petting zoo. Proceeds benefit Move For Jenn, a Charlotte-based non-profit that supports those affected by sarcoma cancer by providing activewear prosthetics. Visit raceroster.com for event details and to register online.

HIT SOME GOLF BALLS

Check out Half-Priced Tuesdays at either of Top Golf’s Charlotte area locations. Each facility has climate-controlled hitting bays, a rooftop terrace, outdoor patios, and a restaurant that serves kid-friendly fare like wings, nachos, and flatbreads. Golf bays are available to book up to 7 days in advance.
