Father’s Day 5K (June 18)
Head to Pineville to run a course that takes you through the new Little Sugar Creek Greenway. All family members are encouraged. Runners can also participate virtually. Starts at 8 a.m. Belle Johnston Community Center, Pineville.
Father’s Day at Hoptown (June 18)
Visit Hoptown Brewing Co. for a Father’s Day block party with a golf simulation competition, parking lot cornhole and Dogs R’ Us hot dogs. Noon-9 p.m. Hoptown Brewing Co., Moorseville.
Free Mini Golf for Dad (June 18)

This special Father’s Day celebration serves up a three-course meal with a tasting of rare whiskies. 4-7 pm. The Crunkleton.

Laughingstock Agricultural Dad Joke Competition (June 18)
The Charlotte Regional Farmers Market hosts a free comedic joke off for comedians 18+. 11 a.m-1 p.m. 1801 Yorkmont Road.
Love & Hiking Date for Couples (June 18)

Music in the Garden (June 18)

7th Annual Father’s Day Cruise for a Cause (June 18)
The cruise: Hot rods and bikes head from Matthews to Belmont. The cause: The Humane Society of Charlotte, who receives 100 percent of all proceeds. 9 a.m.-6 p.m. 316 N. Trade St., Matthews.
