Easter Egg Hunts in Charlotte: 2024

From events on church lawns to community-wide eggstravaganzas, there are plenty of Easter egg hunts in Charlotte this spring. Many of them also include visits from the Easter Bunny. So get hoppin’, and don’t forget your Easter basket!
March 16
14th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Zetas of Charlotte
The Zetas of Charlotte Benevolent Foundation sponsors this fun-filled event with egg hunts, snacks, a game truck, and prizes.
Naturalist Egg Hunt
Wing Haven
1-3 p.m.
Visit the SEED Wildlife & Children’s Garden to celebrate spring songbirds, craft your own binoculars, and search for replicas of real bird eggs hidden throughout the garden. There will also be light refreshments and crafts.

Where My Peeps At?
Rea Farms
10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Enjoy the inflatable maze, Peeps scavenger hunt, and take photos with the Easter bunny.
South End Spring Fling
Pritchard Church
10 a.m.-noon
Egg hunts will be done by age level; fun activities include bounce houses, crafts, face painting, and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Register for free.
South Charlotte Presbyterian
Ballantyne Elementary

Two egg hunts for different age groups with over 4,000 eggs starts at 10:45am.
Hop To It
Chestnut Square Park
10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
*The first hour of the event will be an inclusive egg hunt for those with differing abilities, featuring beeping eggs, magnetic eggs and elevated eggs.

The Plaza will feature balloon artists, face painters, a fun DJ with games and prizes, a flower bar, and more. An Easter Bunny photo opportunity will take place on The Green.
Spring Festival and Egg Drop

Age group egg hunts, bounce houses, arts and crafts, food trucks, drawings of chance and more.

Easter Bunny Express & Egg Hunt
NC Transportation Museum
A general admission ticket to the museum gives you access to the Bunny Trail-stop, inflatable games, balloon twister, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Easter Egg Hunts will take place on March 29 – 30, with start times sorted by age groups.

Explore the farm while you hunt for eggs and enjoy activities such as photos with the Easter Bunny, playing with baby animals in the barnyard, the Cow Barrel Train Ride, the Barn Theater and more.

Starts at 10 a.m.
There will be egg hunts in heats for all ages, (thru 5th grade), sack races, egg tosses, face-painting, free balloon animals for everyone, and sweet treats.
Easter Egg Hunt at Woodhaven

Hunt eggs at 11 a.m., followed by fellowship and a hot dog lunch—and stick around for a surprise visitor.
Spring Craft Fair & Easter Egg Hunt

Hunt for Easter eggs every hour on the hour starting at 11, enjoy free hot dogs, get photos with the Easter Bunny, and explore a lawn covered with craft tents.
Easter Egg Hunt at Birkdale

9 and 10 a.m.
Collect ten eggs and bring them to the trade-in tent to receive a special bag of treats. This event is open to the public, no registration is required.
