Countdown to Kindergarten Event Coming to Discovery Place Kids-Huntersville

Families will have the opportunity to see a mock kindergarten classroom, practice bus safety, meet teachers and staff, and more.

Have a rising kindergartner? Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools North Learning Community will host the annual Countdown to Kindergarten event at Discovery Place Kids-Huntersville on Friday, Aug. 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. At the free event, families will have the opportunity to explore Discovery Place, see a mock kindergarten classroom, practice bus safety, meet teachers and staff, interact with Nickelodeon personalities, play games, and participate in workshops. 

Staff members from Child Nutrition Services, Exceptional Children, Cambridge, International Baccalaureate and After School Enrichment will be in attendance to share information about the 2017-2018 school year.

Discovery Place Kids-Huntersville is located at 105 Gilead Road.
