The Force . . . It is Calling to You

I had to laugh when I read my husband’s Facebook status this morning:

“So long, Facebook. I don’t trust you to keep Star Wars spoilers at bay. Talk to you on the 26th!”

I personally can’t believe he's even waiting until Dec. 25, which is the showing we purchased our tickets for (three months in advance, I might add). Our 9-year-old son is requiring a crash course in the Trilogy movies before then, and time’s a tickin.’ My 12-year-old daughter has seen enough of them to be good and pumped, and well, based on his Facebook status, you know where their dad stands.

Here at the office, the excitement over “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” has been infectious, thanks to our December Star Wars "Out of this World" Gift Guide feature, and my co-workers may have enjoyed playing with the sampling of toys just a tad. I smile to myself every time I hear the sound of Kylo Ren’s light saber being turned on.

Luckily, we’re not lacking for movie theatres in our area, and a cursory glance shows that even with all the pre-sale records being set, as of today you can still find tickets for the movie, including IMAX and 3D versions.

And if you’re like us and won’t be seeing the movie until after opening day, and you use Google Chrome, try out this feature in your quest to avoid spoilers!
