Recognize a Teacher with Hometown Hero Appreciation Award

Each month Charles G. Monnett III and Associates is awarding a local teacher with $250 of classroom supplies and a class pizza party.

Know a teacher that gives 110 percent? Students, families, faculty and community members from Mecklenburg and surrounding counties can nominate and vote for a favorite teacher for the Hometown Hero Appreciation Award given by Charlotte law firm Charles G. Monnett III and Associates. To honor the commitment teachers make to students, the law firm is awarding a teacher in Mecklenburg, Lincoln, Catawba, Iredell, Cabarrus and Union counties each month of the school year with a $250 Visa gift card to use for classroom supplies, plus a class pizza party provided by Domino’s pizza.

Nominations are ongoing throughout the school year and voting closes at the end of each month, followed by a presentation ceremony at the winning teacher’s school during the first week of the next month. Nominate a deserving teacher at carolinalaw.com.
