Climb a Tree House at Reedy Creek Park

The centerpieces of the Reedy Creek Park playground are two connected tree houses. Children can climb up and then take the curvy slide to get back to ground level, or walk across a swinging bridge and march down the tiers of platform steps. There is a sandbox under one tree house, complete with scoops and buckets; and nearby music stations, built from natural materials, that kids can bang on. The 146-acre park offers 10 miles of trails for exploration, plus ponds for fishing. Be sure to stop by the nature center – beside the playground – to see live turtles, snakes, fish and more.
