Junior Ranger Program
Looking for an activity program you can do at any North Carolina State Park? Kids ages 6-12 can become Junior Rangers and help protect the parks and learn about the environment.
The requirements for earning the Junior Ranger patch vary by age. Several parks have their own special Junior Ranger programs as well. The main activity book and a list of parks with additional programs can be found at ncparks.gov/Education/jrranger.php.
Sixteen parks in South Carolina also have a Junior Ranger program for ages 6-9. The South Carolina program has three levels and prizes at each level. Find complete information and forms here.
