Alyssa Sharpe, CEO of Digi-Bridge, brings hands-on learning opportunities to children across Charlotte. Digi-Bridge’s courses, events, “code-ins,” camps, and curriculum toolkits teach kids to build, code, engineer, and learn about all things STEM. As the mom of a baby and a toddler, Alyssa knows all about hands-on fun at home, too.

I first got involved in Digi-Bridge when… the program expanded into Ballantyne. I helped expand to new markets.

I have been running Digi-Bridge for… one year.

One thing I want parents to know about Digi-Bridge is… everyone is a scientist.

One thing I want kids to know about Digi-Bridge is… playing, creating, and exploring is STEM.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced me to… meet specific needs of parents and become better listeners, especially in terms of virtual programming.

After the pandemic, I am most looking forward to… visiting family and hugging people.

If I’m not at work, you’re likely to find me… exploring parks around Charlotte.
