CELEBRATE LABOR DAY AT THE U.S. WHITEWATER CENTER

Celebrate Labor Day at U.S. National Whitewater Center Saturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3 with trail races, yoga, and live music. Admission is free; parking is $6. Lawn chairs and blankets are allowed, but no outside food or drinks are permitted.

CREATE A MASTERPIECE

Drop by the Mint Museum Randolph Wednesday, September 6 from 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. and pick up a Mini Art Kit. This month’s kit explores symbolic animals in the art of Rosalia Torres-Weiner and includes magic color-changing markers. Mini Art Kits are free and available while supplies last.

CHECK OUT THE YIASOU THE GREEK FESTIVAL

The Yiasou Greek Festival returns to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral September 8-10. Enjoy cultural exhibits, folk dancing, live music, and authentic Greek cuisine. The Kids Playland has rides, children’s activities, and cotton candy. Hours are Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Admission is $5. Children 12 and younger are free.

STOP BY FESTIVAL IN THE PARK

The 59th Annual Festival in the Park takes over Freedom Park from Friday, September 22 to Sunday, September 24. Browse original artwork from more than 150 artists, check out multiple food vendors, and hear live music. Admission is free, but dogs and skateboards are not allowed.
