Baby Faces is a Nifty Read

'Baby Faces' introduces feelings in new Indestructibles series.

You’ve heard of the story “The Little Engine That Could," and now there is a series of books that has been dubbed the little series that could. Indestructibles are inventive books put together for the way babies read.

Published on a matchless, nonhazardous, newspaper type material that can take anything babies chuck at them, this series is tear resistant, chew resistant, drool resistant and gum resistant. They're 100 percent baby harmless — and they're washable. When a book gets filthy, just toss it in your dishwasher or washing machine, and presto, the book is back and prepared for more.

Highlighting the second set of titles by Kate Merritt and Amy Pixton, whose unique and vibrant hodgepodge graphics are as gorgeous to parents as they are to babies,
"Baby Faces" is a new Indestructibles that is a hoot to read aloud. Readers are welcomed with a "hurray" from a cheery, pleased pint-size baby boy, but the reverse page spectacles a very sad little girl — boo-hoo!  “Baby Faces” is a nifty read! The next range compares something tasty with something not so tasty. The arrangement starts to change and opposites are no longer noticeable — silly versus kiss and wow verses stinky.

Must-haves for introducing babies to books.
