‘Tis the Season…To Be Reading!

The tree is decorated, the stockings are hung, and gifts are being wrapped. The holiday season can be a busy time for families, so be sure to take a break every once in a while and enjoy this special time with your children. One great way to do this is by grabbing a book and snuggling up with your little ones. Otis soon realizes that family and friends are much more important than any gift.

How about doing some baking with your child? Christmas Sweets and Treats by Ruth Owen is a great book to get some ideas for baking fun, particularly with preteens. Whether it’s creating adorable reindeer cupcakes or whipping up some eggless eggnog, both of you will enjoy spending some time together in the kitchen.
