CELEBRATE JUNETEENTH

Head to Plaza Midwood between June 12 and 15 for Juneteenth Festival of the Carolinas. Activities include a youth culture camp, a drum circle, a gospel fest, craft workshops, music, performances, food, a marketplace, and more. Events are open to all ages and free to attend. 

JAM OUT TO KIDZ BOP 

KIDZ BOP returns to PNC Music Pavilion on June 21 with the Certified BOP Tour. Sing and dance along to hits like “espresso,” “HOT TO GO,” and “Dance Monkey.” For tour dates and ticket information, visit www.KIDZBOP.com and LiveNation.com.

CATCH AN OUTDOOR CONCERT

The Anne Springs Close Greenway’s Summer Concert Series runs every Thursday night through July. Entry begins at 6 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Food and beverages are available for purchase from the Greenway Canteen’s food truck. Admission for non-members is $7 per adult and $5 for ages 5-12. Members and children 4 and under are free. Parking is $5 per vehicle. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome.

PLAY A LIFE-SIZED GAME OF MONOPOLY

Check out MONOPOLY LIFESIZED: Travel Edition at Blume Studios through July 27. The interactive experience puts players in a life-sized version of the iconic game, navigating the familiar properties like Boardwalk, Park Place, Water Works and more. The Top Hat Bar, located inside of Blume Studios, has drinks and snacks for purchase. Kids 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18+) on the same team. Parking at Blume Studios is free; reserve tickets in advance.
