4 Hacks to Slow Down This Fall
Try these hacks to find some more time in the day.

You deserve a minute to relax on the couch, watch your favorite show or movie, or football with the family. Try these hacks to find some more time in the day.
1 | Meal prep with the slow cooker.
For quick prep in the morning, have all ingredients chopped and ready to go in the refrigerator the night before in the slow cooker insert. When you wake up, get the insert out and let it sit to room temperature before turning on the slow cooker before you head for work or a long day of errands.
2 | Squeeze in more time.
Take 20 minutes to write out a chore chart for yourself and your kids. By sharing the load and designating the duties, you’ll find more time to ‘veg’ out on the couch with the family.
3 | Have a cold one.
To chill a glass of wine or cold beer in a flash, wrap a wet paper towel around the bottle and put it in the freezer for 15 minutes. It also works if you want to chill your child a cold bottle of juice.
4. Homemade cold remedy.
Make a batch of homemade chicken broth, then let it cool before putting in ice cube trays. When your little tykes or you are coming down with the sniffles, pop out a few broth cubes and reheat for a soothing cup of chicken soup.
