Good Deeds: Tanisha Johnson

During free time last summer, Tanisha Johnson, opted to volunteer reading, doing art and spending time with children at the Larry King Clubhouse, a free, drop-in child care center at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse for children whose family members are conducting business at the courthouse or serving as jurors. Tanisha, a sophomore at Southpoint High School in Belmont, said it was a rewarding to work with the children and share with them about her hobbies and school activities.
