Crafts for Kids: DIY Valentine's Day Diorama
Try your hand making this three-dimensional, handmade Valentine for the little ones you love.
When it comes to Valentine's Day some of the best gifts are those that are handmade and don't cost a lot. With that said, try your hand making this three-dimensional, handmade Valentine for the little ones you love.
The goal with this project is to use supplies that you have around the house. Open up that junk drawer and lay out the goods.
Here is what I used to make my diorama:
- Small cardboard box (the size that earrings would come in)
- Scrapbook paper
- Wallpaper samples
- Random toy dinosaur or other random small toy
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Marker
- Watercolor paint
- Paintbrush
Start by making a landscape for your diorama. With the glue stick, I attached each layer inside the cardboard box.
Tip: Using different textures will create an interesting diorama.
Now add your random toy dinosaur or LEGO figure or maybe small superhero.
Write and attach a sweet message.
