Corvian Community School Opens Middle School

After a two-year search, Corvian Community School is celebrating its new location in northeast Charlotte.

After a two-year search, Corvian Community School is celebrating its new location at 4125 Johnston Oehler Road in northeast Charlotte. The middle school located at opened for the 2015-16 school year, and serves students in grades 5 and 6. The campus sits on 17 acres and can accommodate the school’s future high school campus and athletics. (The elementary school campus serves students in grades K-4). The charter school was granted charter status in 2012, and each year another grade is being added to complete a K-12 school.

With more than 600 families enrolled, the school is committed to small class size, models and teaches health and wellness, and implements service learning opportunities. Registration for the 2016-17 lottery begins Nov. 1 with a public lottery held in March 2016. For more information, visit corvian.org.
