Celebrate autumn with these great ways to have fun.
Towards the end of a hot Carolina summer, thoughts turn towards Fall with (hopefully) cooler weather and great opportunities to spend time together outdoors. From hayrides to mazes cut from cornfields and yummy foods, these area farms and play places offer the crew lots of was to welcome the season.
Some locations do require reservations or ask that tickets be purchased in advance to help visitors social distance and observe COVID-19 best practices.
Opens September 11
Seven acres of corn is magically transformed into one of the largest mazes in the Southeast at the Amazing Maise Maze in Rural Hill in Huntersville! Please note you must wear a mask in the maze.

Family Fun! Starting September 11 download the Historic Rural Hill phone app and collect map pieces, complete a crossword puzzle and play other games to compete in the ultimate challenge and dominate the leaderboard!

Price: The Farm Admission pass is $10 for ages 3 and older or purchase the Farm Combo pass for $12 which includes everything in Farm Admission, plus 10 activity tickets to use with extra fee attractions.

Family Fun! Designed for ages 10 and under, the “Little Ears Maze” allows kids (accompanied by a paying adult) to enjoy the maze experience through an interactive game of “Simon Says.” Other ways to have fun include a corn cannon, duck races, petting zoo, swings and lots more.

Who says you fall fun can only happen on the weekend? Patterson Farm offers weekday fun from 2-6 p.m. Monday through Friday!
