Playground Review: Mason Wallace Park

Mason Wallace Park
7301 Monroe Road
Play at Mason Wallace Park
Babies all the way up to big kids can get their wiggles out at Mason Wallace Park playground just off Monroe Road. The mulch-covered playground has two connecting play sets. Preschoolers and bigger kids can climb an arched monkey bar ladder, a chain ladder or standard ladder onto the play set deck. Toddlers can practice their walking and balancing skills climbing the steps to the smaller slide deck that has a baby slide, or venture across the swinging bridge to the bigger slide deck where there are three slides: one twisty and two side-by-side straight slides. Nearby is a swing set with two baby swings and two big-kid swings. If you have kids older than 8, bring a soccer or football for kicking around in the adjacent playing field.
