Catch a Holiday Flick at the Drive-In
Head to the Skyline Drive-In at Camp North End for a showing of “Elf” on Thursday, December 17 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 per car and must be reserved in advance via Eventbrite. Find the 40 x 60 foot inflatable screen on the northwest corner of the Statesville Avenue parking lot, and use an FM radio transmitter to tune in. Take a Stroll Down Gingerbread Lane (top)
Visit the Ballantyne Hotel between December 4 and 27 and check out Gingerbread Lane. All gingerbread houses will be on display in the Carolina room to allow for social distancing. Cast your vote for your favorite creation; the cost is $1 minimum donation per vote with an option to donate online, and all proceeds benefit Levine Children’s Hospital.
