1. Fisher Farm Park

A 200-acre park in Davidson that is mostly open space and natural area. If you like to mountain bike, there are also four miles of mountain-bike trails.

2. Freedom Park

This family favorite off East Boulevard in Charlotte offers the seven-acre pond as a backdrop as well as stone bridges and bright-yellow maple trees.


3. Independence Park

Also located just minutes from uptown Charlotte, this park offers lots of stone walls, manicured box hedges and arbors that make for excellent close-up photos.


4. Colonel Francis Beatty Park

Located in Matthews, this park has many areas with wooded backdrops that give a nice warm hue to photos, plus there's a lake.
