Charlotte Parent magazine’s calendar provides information for parents and families about activities they can enjoy each month. Events listed in the calendar are typically free or low-cost activities targeted to parents or families. The calendar will also include annual or featured events that may require paid admission, but are decided to be important community or entertainment attractions applicable to families and kids. Examples: holiday events, parades, street fairs, weekend festivals, local children’s plays or children’s character concerts.
To submit your event, e-mail, mail or fax your event's name, date, time, location, cost, contact phone number, Website and a short description. Include electronic images if available.
Submissions must be received by the 8th of the preceeding month to be included in the print calendar. For example, information for a February event must be in our office before January 8. Events received later than the 8th will be posted in the online calendar in a timely manner throughout the month.
All submissions will be considered for publication. Inclusion is based on editorial space and event relevance at the discretion of the editor.
