Heritage Farmstead
Visitors to the Heritage Farmstead can experience life as it was lived in the early days of Iredell County. The site includes a two-story log house, one-room cabin, smoke house, corn crib, blacksmith shop, privy, hearth and kitchen garden along with an adjacent one-room schoolhouse. Various heritage events such as war reenactments, a spring planting, the Summer Sampler festival, autumn Harvest Day and Back Country Christmas feature live presentations of traditional culture. Directly across from the Heritage Farmstead, visitors can hike the Nature Trail. Adjoining the Nature Trail is access to one of the Statesville Greenway paths.

Museum of the Alphabet
The story of the different kinds of alphabets and their beginnings. From Roman, Greek, Hebrew, Korean, American Indian, and many other scripts visitors can explore the “written language.” Some 300 million people worldwide still do not have an alphabet for their mother tongue

Cane Creek Park
This park is a family-oriented, water-based outdoor recreation facility encompassing 1,050 acres of land surrounding a 350-acre trophy bass lake. Rentals are available on pontoon boats, rowboats, pedal boats and canoes. Sports equipment can be checked out and there is a miniature golf course. Beach access, a snack bar and picnic shelters are other parts of the accommodations. Family campsites, complete with bath houses, are open March through October.

Center for the Arts
The Rock Hill Arts Council's Center for the Arts is housed on two restored historic buildings in downtown Rock Hill. The Center offers office, classroom and artist studio space in addition to the Dalton Gallery, which features six to eight regional/national exhibitions annually. Member arts organizations which receive funding from the Council's annual arts include ARTS etc, the Rock Hill Community Theatre, the York County Ballet and the York Country Choral Society.
