May 24-26. Concerts at 6:30pm. Free for festival; tickets to Romare Bearden Park's concerts vary per performance. Live entertainment, access to racing’s brightest stars, giveaways, music and interactive displays. Each day starting at noon, vendor displays, kids’ activities, racing-related fun and more will run on Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte until 8pm. Then national headliners will take the stage in Romare Bearden Park starting at 6:30pm. Uptown Charlotte, Tryon St. Noon-8pm.

The Jazz Festival is a multi-cultural celebration. Bring your family, along with chairs or a blanket, to experience a great evening filled with local jazz bands, an array of artisans and vendors, food trucks, and children's activities. May 19. 5-9pm. Watch a performance by the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra at the Bailey Road Park Bandshell. Rockie Lynne will open and will perform a number of patriotic songs.
