Explore new instruments and learn the building blocks to being a musician in this class designed for our young students!

Our Discovering Strings class is the perfect class for young students to explore and learn about two beloved instruments. This six-week class provides a fun introduction to the violin and cello. Students will learn the parts of the instrument, how to care for a string instrument, and how to hold the instrument and bow. This class will build a solid foundation for future string studies and include other fun music, movement and listening games. Come discover the joy of beginning violin and cello as a community, with other interested students! This class is designed so that our young musicians learn alongside their caregivers.

Prerequisites: None!

No instrument needed! We use box instruments that are provided.
