Date/Time

May 27, 2017 to March 3, 2018

This event occurs daily, every 1 day(s).

Description

Explore the term "cabinet of curiosities" with this exhibit that describes a room rather than a piece of furniture. "Cabinets" originated in the 16th century and held large collections of unique objects, designed to demonstrate a family's wealth. Highlighted in this collection is some of the museum's objects that have never been seen before--some unusual and odd, and some common items that look a little more different today. Tues.-Fri., 10am-5pm; Sat., 10am-3pm.
