15th Annual Museum Day

September 21, 2019

Participating museums across the country open their doors for free to those who download a branded ticket. Museums, zoos and cultural centers from all 50 states can emulate the spirit of the Smithsonian Institution’s Washington, D.C.-based facilities, which offer free admission every day.

Participating Charlotte-area museums include the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts and Culture, the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, President James K. Polk State Historic Site in Pineville, and Murray's Mill Historic Districut in Catawba.
