Eat Out April 19 to Support Autism Awareness
Hang up your apron April 19 and feel good about splurging on a meal out for the 14th annual Autism Aware Fare. The Autism Society of North Carolina in partnership with the Mecklenburg County Chapter hosts the event to build autism awareness and education while raising money to support children and adults with autism who live in Mecklenburg County.
A portion of the restaurant proceeds that day support scholarships for programs and activities at Camp Royall, other recreational opportunities for families, and grants to educators who teach children with autism in Mecklenburg County. Find the list of participating restaurants at autismawarefare.org.
