Associate Editor - Part-time
Seeking a part-time associate editor with a passion for parenting to join our team. Responsibilities will include ensuring that our magazine is full of accurate, reliable, compelling content that is informative, newsworthy, and entertaining. Responsibilities will also include maintaining and raising the profile for the magazine.

Education and Skills

         •Degree in Journalism, English or communications
         •2+ years of experience with print publication
         •Excellent writing and proofing abilities
         •Exceptional written and oral communication skills
         •Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
         •Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines
         •Knowledge of content development and editorial workflow processes
         •Positive attitude with the ability to handle stressful situations.
         •Unquestionable integrity; dependable and responsible work ethic with minimal supervision
         •Management experience and familiar with AP style and In Design a plus
